I haven't played this game in ages and I made it to the save point only being down a single energy tank (I picked up some health on the way of course). Go slow and creep through the rooms, scan everything, use your Thermal Visor to spot the enemies on the ceiling and stuff ahead of time so you can blast them with a charged shot before they even engage, use your dash dodge while locked on. Finally I enable "Enable Mouse Panning" in Controls > Advanced and turn it down to 1% so the mouse will be locked to the Yuzu window. I had to resort to obtaining the source code, figure out how the program works, edit it, and recompile the program myself to fix these issues. Plus Yuzu has no ability to invert motion controls and MPR lacks the feature as well. Unfortunately the program has absolutely no customizability, so you're stuck with what it gives you. It works, but the sensitivity is way too high and the x axis is inverted. Luckily after tons of searching I found a obscure bare-bones program with a whopping zero documentation called Pad Motion, which seems to be the ONLY mouse-to-motion solution for cemuhook. However, that site only provides DS3, DS4, DS5, Wii, and Switch controllers as well as using your phone as motion data providers. What I came up with was that I had to use the cemuhook feature in Yuzu, which meant I had to use one of the few motion data providers listed on this site. The mouse look emulating the joystick felt nothing like a proper keyboard and mouse control, so scoured the internet for a solution. The fact that this isn't a feature in Yuzu (that I know of) is astonishing. Even games that were days away from launch aren't immune to COVID-related delays, as recently seen with Resident Evil Re:Verse, when it was only recently pushed back to 2022.My short answer is that I'm essentially emulating the gyro look using my mouse. The tag space of tags consisting of four uppercase letters (A-Z) with no punctuation, spaces, or numbers, is reserved as a vendor space. For instance, the 'mark' feature is used in managing the placement of diacritical marks, and the 'swsh' feature is used to select alternate swash glyphs. By convention, registered feature tags use four lowercase letters. By examining a feature’s tag, a text-processing client can determine what a feature does and decide whether to implement it.Īll tags are four-character strings composed of a limited set of ASCII characters for details regarding the Tag data type, see Data Types. Symphonia remains one of the best examples of this concept because it strikes just the right balance between traditional RPG tenants and fresh ideas. What makes Tales games special is how they work within convention to connect you to that traditional kind of experience on a deeper level. While the Tales series often takes criticism for its straightforward adherence to convention, that element forms an important part of their identity. Symphonia follows beats that virtually any RPG fan from the 90s will be familiar with. By the time that I played Symphonia, I was very familiar with games like Final Fantasy and its contemporaries, particularly how their stories go and how the games are structured. I describe Symphonia as a regenerative RPG because it took a lot of the things I loved about RPGs and instilled them with a new energy. The nature of regeneration versus recycling collide here, highlighting the important roles of both. Ironically, I’m talking about Symphonia now because it has once again been churned through the remaster machine. Tales of Symphonia focuses on the concept of “regeneration.” While that term carries plot significance with it, it also summarizes a lot of the impact this game had on me specifically, particularly in regards to my view on RPGs. Sometimes, however, “re”s can be a force for change they can take something you love and execute it in an exciting new way. That’s what the “re” prefix means, after all. From remakes to remasters to your favorite alternative form of reconditioning, it’s hard not to associate the “re”s with repetition or the sense you’ve done it all before. A lot of “re”-ing goes on in video games these days. ![]() ![]() ![]() Joe Biden officially accepted the Democratic nomination during the Democratic National Convention.
